When Jessi from Valkyrie’s Vault and I sat down to talk through what her game store meant to her, she kept coming back to community and connection. Jessi is wildly passionate about breaking down toxic attitudes in the game community and being an ambassador for inclusivity in the gaming space. 

The branding we created centers on an illustrated valkyrie playing with Sammy—the beloved feline CEO of the shop. The text and design structure of all the elements are more akin to a club or guild than a retail establishment, emphasizing that the people who come and play and teach and read are what holds this special place together.
