BRAND IDENTITY + ILLUSTRATION
Crafting the brand identity for professional dominatrix Countess Diamond required an in-depth process of concepting, sketching and refinement in order to capture the enigmatic personality at the core of the deeply intimate services she offers.
Stereotypical BDSM branding can easily fall into one of two territories: grim and dark or cheap and cheesy. In order to break away from convention, Countess Diamond wanted a brand toolkit that was uniquely hers: sophisticated but rebellious. moody but not gothic. occult but not halloween.
The brand elements draw inspiration from both esoteric iconography and classic luxury branding –but always with a twist. Unexpected curves and points, a bit of grit, and hand drawn icons all compliment the dramatic baroque photos of the Countess herself. What better way to draw in new clients than with branding rooted in mystery and seduction.
